Amy is one of our talented and friendly staff members here at animato violins. She gew up on the Gold Coast and moved to Brisbane in 2008 to complete her Bachelor of Music at the Queensland Conservtorium on Violin. Since then she has finished her Master of Music Studies under the guidence of Michele Walsh and is a member of the Alchemy String Quartet (Bris).

Amy is an enthused Orchestral and Chamber musician. She was concermaster of the Conservatorium Chamber Orchestra in 2009, is a casual violionist with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and is involved with many Australian Youth Orchestral programs.

Amy has participated in many competitions and summer schools as a soloist and chamber player winning the 4mbs Chamber Music Prize, Austraian Concerto and Aria competition (Chamber Music Division) and was a finalist at the 2010 Musicaviva Chamber Music Prize. Amy has worked with leading musicians across the globe including the Australian String Quartet, Roy Howat (Pno), Graeme Jennings (vln), The Goldner Quartet and Peirs Lane (Pno).

Amy is a great supporter of the arts. As well as her valued work at Animato's she offers her time to teach privately at her home and at Redeemer Luthern College. She also loves to cook!
