Entry Level Violion Bown and Carbon Fiber bows

Bows, particularly when they come with new instruments in a package deal, can be quite disappointing. Thney can be too flimsy, much too heavy, too light, hard to tighten or difficult to untighten. The hair may be uneven, the bowe may be overly warped (sideways), buty it could also lack springiness and the bow may be not 'bowed' enough. These days, Chinese bows  are the way to go unless you have intebntioopns to spend over 500 dollars on a bow. Animato's entry level bows are available for 57 and 77 Dollars, and these bows try to imitate German bows that would sll for around $250.

If you feel you would like to upgrade your bow without spening a lot of money, we suggest good Carbon Fiber bows. They are available from $199, and they show professonal features: They are well balanced, not too heavy or too light, they have a great tension although some carbon fibre bows could bee too stiff unless you choose a good supplier. The feel is an 'expensive' feel, like a 'pernambuco bow' worth $1500 or more.
