Important: The normal size for viola is 7.8mm (for 14" violas - same as for violin) or 8.3mm for violas (15" and bigger) with normal peg holes. (7.8mm, 8.3mm and 9mm is the width of the Peg Shenk diameter in millimeters.) If the viola is very old or the peg holes are overly large a larger peg set has to be fitted. Please choose 8.3 mm if you are not sure. Should the pegs NOT fit, we can easily swap them for another set. No problem.
